All of our students joined in on our fundraising training session this evening. The children dressed up as superheroes and we sold some lovely treats. Altogether we raised £162.00 which has gone to help people who desperately need it in Ukraine. Thank you to everyone who took part and donated.

We started our new class for younger students today. The class follows UK ITF’s Generation-X Syllabus and lays a solid foundation for children who want a bright future in Taekwon-Do. The class is doing well and we are looking at starting a second class in the next few months.

Our Student of the Year Award for 2021 went to Angshuman Roy. 2021 has been a very important year for him and he has trained incredibly hard throughout. Well done Angshuman for making us all very proud of you!

Five Students attended UK ITF’s South East Regional Championships which were held at Brunel University in Uxbridge, Middlesex.
The following medals were awarded to them:

Manveer Kaur Pabla: Bronze in Patterns
Ishveer Kaur Pabla: Bronze in Patterns
Anushka Goswami: Bronze in Patterns and Silver in Sparring

Angshuman Roy who is just 11 years old graded for his Black Belt (1 st Dan). Angshuman did
particularly well in light of the fact that he was unable to attend classes for 18 months due to the
lockdown. Ms Virk and Angshuman did a lot of the grading preparation outdoors as a result of this.
Angshuman’s focus, maturity and dedication is what allowed him to perform so well on the day.
